Dreamer; a vision oriented individual, seeing the end before the beginning. Dreamers often see what others can’t even comprehend. Dreamers cast vision of the extravagant. The fare off future is the playground of the Dreamers mind.
Doers left to their natural tendencies have a difficult time seeing the potential greatness the future holds. Dreamers are so caught up in the someday that they often forget the details. Popular quips stem from both Dreamers and Doers. Doers frequently say things like “The early bird gets the worm.” While Dreamers often warn “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
Then there is a different group who actually accomplish the imposable. These Mountain Movers are a unique blend of the Doer and Dreamer. Every individual may have a particular bend toward either Doer or Dreamer. The secret is to balance your natural bias with aspects of the Doer or Dreamer you don’t naturally posses. Mountain Movers see their deficiencies and work to bring balance to their life. Mountain Movers know Doing without Dreaming leads to a bland life, a day-to-day existence with no excitement. But, Mountain Movers also know Dreaming without Doing leads to a stagnate existence, frustrated that the dream is always on the horizon.
The challenge; be honest enough with yourself to strike a balance the Dreamer and Doer. Become a Mountain Mover.
